Have you ever felt the thirst for water after a long day of heat?
You and I enjoy the convenience of getting water whenever we want, whenever we
want. But the larger population in Africa does not enjoy this easy convenience.
They have to work in the hot sun, or in stuffed diamond mines, and once in a
while, they would really like some water.
Water is a vital supplement that your body needs to use. Water is
essential to the younger population, because you want your body to become old
as a normal body. More than 3.4 million people
die each year from water, sanitation, and hygiene-related causes. Nearly all
deaths, 99 percent, occur in the developing world of Africa.
In Africa, 345 million people have no access to
water. Because of all of these countries who have no supply of water, 3.4
million people die each year from a dehydration related disease. This is enough
to fill the whole city of Los Angeles. In the entire world, 780 million people
do not have access to fresh, clean water.
This is why I am saying to support the http://www.waterforchildrenafrica.org/ ,the water for the children in Africa charity.
They provide safe, sustainable water to African villages. Just think, if water
could be supplied to everyone in the world. Peace would not be a problem in
Africa, because most battles and killings occur just for water. Also, lots of
the world’s sanitation and education would be improved. Half of the world
schools do not have access to clean water and sanitation. If the world had more
water, children could focus more on education, rather than staying alive with
so less water in their country.
A child dies of water borne diseases about every 15
seconds . By this time tomorrow,
another 2,500 children will be dead. Today’s youth population is not going to
be a struggle for the best job, or best life. It will be for water. Water is
the thing that gave humans a refreshing sensation, and now it would turn into
the thing that caused us war. Do you really want your great grandchildren to be
in a struggle for water? I know I don’t. That’s why I’m saying to support the
children in Africa Struggle for water. It would improve the human race. I would
give the children in Africa a chance to feel water and its refreshing
sensation, after a hot day.
